Roulette is the oldest of all the casino games. The roulette wheel has 37 separately numbered slots in which the ball may land. The numbers are alternately coloured red and black, the "0" is green. You have to predict in which numbered slot the ball will stop.

Euro Roulette offers a wide variety of bets.

Inside Bets
The inside bets are made up of specific numbers or combinations of numbers within the number layout on the table.

Straight-up bet - This is the simplest bet on just one number. Put your chips on any of the 37 numbers. The odds are 35 to 1.

Split bet - This is a bet on two different numbers beside each other on the table layout. Put your chips down on the line between them. The odds are 17 to 1.

Street bet - This bet allows you to play on three different numbers with the same bet. Place your chips on the outside of the row of numbers you want to bet on. The odds are 11 to 1.

Corner bet - You bet on four adjoining numbers placing your chips at the point where four numbers meet. The odds are 8 to 1.

Line bet - A bet on 6 numbers placed at the end of the two rows on the line between them. The odds are 5 to 1.

Outside Bets
The outside bets are simply the bets that reside 'outside' of the main playing area of 37 numbers.

Red or Black - You can choose to bet on the outcome either being a red number, or a black number. Place your chips on the red or black diamond on the table. This bet pays even money.

Odd or Even - This bet is based on whether the number will be odd or even. Place your chips in the middle of the square marked 'EVEN' or the square marked 'ODD'. This bet pays even money.

Low or high - This bet lets you predict whether the next number to come up will belong to the 1 to 18 range, or to the 19 to 36 range. Put your chips in the boxes with the associated number range printed in them. This bet pays even money.

Note: If 0 is spun, all even money outside bets are halved and returned to the player.

Columns - Place this bet by putting your chips in one of the three '2 to 1' boxes. Each box is part of a column of numbers. If a number from the column you chose comes up you win. The odds are 2 to 1.

Dozens - Dozens lets you place a bet on either the first (numbers 1-12), the second (numbers 13-24), or the third dozen (numbers 25-36). Place your chips in the corresponding rectangular areas. The odds are 2 to 1.

Note: If 0 is spun, Column and Dozen bets lose.

Race track Bets and Special Bets
The following bets can be placed in the numbered oval located next to the Table layout, or in the pop-up above the chip console.

Neighbour Bets
A 5 piece bet on a number covers the number itself and the two numbers on each side of it. For example, if a bet is placed on 17 and the neighbours, the player wins if any of the following come in 2, 25, 17, 34, 6. Payout is equivalent to a straight up bet with a fifth of the total neighbour bet stake being placed on the winning number and paid out at 35-1.

Special Bets
You can select 32 different special bets from the menu that will appear by clicking above the chip console. Each special bet covers a group of numbers that will be highlighted when you roll over each one with your mouse. Payouts and stake amounts depend on how many numbers the bet covers. These are short cuts to betting on numbers ending in a particular digit, and combinations of straight up’s, splits and selections of adjacent numbers that cover up to half of the wheel layout, e.g. Voison du Zero and tier de cylinder (located within the racetrack).

Table and betting limits
When you launch the game you are presented with the Table Limits pop-up window that allows you to select your bet limits at the table.

The Table Limits indicate the minimum and the maximum total bet you can place for each spin of the wheel.  Your total bets for each spin must reach at lease the Table min, but must never exceed the Table max.

Depending on the table limits you select, the limits on certain types of bets will change accordingly:

Straight Up Max. - is the maximum amount you can bet on a single number.
Inside Min. - is the minimum amount you must bet on any inside bet.
Outside Min. - is the minimum you must bet on any outside bet.

Once you have selected your table limits, click on OK.

Please note: should you wish to change the limits inbetween spins, you can do so by clicking on the View and change table limits button in the top right hand side of your screen.

Placing a bet
To play European Roulette first choose the value of your chips, in the lower left hand corner of the game screen. The largest chip indicates the value currently selected.

Hovering with the mouse over the table will highlight the numbers that would be included if you placed a bet on that particular area of the table. A tool tip will also display information on the odds and total stake (if any) on that area. To place your bet, click on the area of your choice. 

You may place as many bets as you like - within the table limits - by clicking on the different areas of the table.

Please note: as the Add chip function is automatically available when you open the game, each click on the table will increase your bet by 1 chip. Should you choose to select the Remove chip function, each click on the table will decrease your bet by 1 chip.

Before you decide to spin the wheel, you may modify your bets using the available buttons. Unavailable buttons will appear in grey.
Use the Undo last action or Redo last action buttons to respectively remove or repeat your last action. Click on the Clear all bets button to remove all bets from the table.

Once you have placed your bets click on the Spin button to start the wheel.

When the ball stops in a slot, its number will be marked on the table layout with a marker, and a pop-up window will display the result.

On the top right hand side of the screen you will see the list of the previous results. The number higher up the list is the result of the last spin.

If your bet is a winning bet, a pop-up will clearly display the amount you have won in the middle of the screen.

Should you wish to continue playing, place your next bet by clicking on the desired areas of the table or, to place the same bets you placed on the last spin, click on the Re-place previous bet button.

Statistics
By clicking on the View statistics button in the top right side of your screen, you will find a wide range of statistics in relation to every number on the roulette wheel and to all the different areas and betting options on the table. Statistics are based on previous results as well as on your previous bets and winnings.

Preferences
If you wish to personalise the table and surrounding environment, click on PREFERENCES. 
You will be able to change the colour of the table and the wheel, the surrounding environment as well as the pin of the wheel. You will also have the option to change the view of the table. This option is also available by clicking on the Change main camera view button in the top right side of your screen.

From inside the PREFERENCES pop-up you will also be able to change the appearance of the game frame, the audio and other general features, such as the Welcome message and your avatar. These general preferences will apply to all other games featuring the same PREFERENCES options.
