In the traditional bingo game, played in bingo clubs, players mark off the numbers on their tickets, using a pen called a bingo dabber, as numbered balls are randomly drawn by a caller until a winner is declared. The winner is the first person to mark off all the numbers on their ticket according to the designated winning patterns.
Our online version of bingo is played very much in the same way, the main differences being that a new game starts every few minutes, all day every day, and that you can set up all your own game environment preferences.
To play you must log in, have adequate funds in your account and buy at least one ticket.
| The Club Selector |
 |
At Galabingo.co.uk you will find a choice of clubs with different games and promotions running at different times so whenever you log in you can be sure to find the bingo game that suits you. Simply choose a club from the Lobby page by clicking on the Play button.

All online clubs offer the same features and game options but have different opening hours; the Gala Clubs City, Country, Seaside, Royal, Castle and Sharon, however, are open every day, 24 hours a day.
A Club Selector button is available within each club above the Chat window to allow you move from one to another without having to log out.

| Linked Clubs |
 |
In particular occasions and for particular games, we may link two or more Bingo clubs together and all players within the Linked Clubs will be able to participate to the same game from their favourite club.
Linked Clubs will be clearly marked within the Lobby.
Players will be able to buy tickets and advanced tickets for Linked Clubs games only from one club.
Winning claims will be announced in all Linked Clubs, and the winning tickets will be available for all participating players to see.
Should two or more players share a valid claim, winnings will be split among the relevant players and credited immediately in their accounts regardless of the fact that they may be playing from different clubs.
Please note: players participating in a Linked Club game will be able to chat only to players within the same club.

| Gala TV Online |
 |
If you choose to play in our Gala TV Club you can watch the Gala TV show online. The club is open 24/7 with a live show broadcast every day from 5pm until 1am and automated Bingo played between 1am and 5pm.
All games in the Gala TV Club are standard 90 Ball Bingo games. The way you buy your tickets is the same as in any other club, however the numbers are called by the presenters on-screen.
As in all our online clubs, there are many different chat rooms to choose from. From time to time the Gala TV presenters and callers will be in the rooms to answer all your questions and wish you luck. In particular the "At The Studio" room can be used to ask questions and receive immediate feedback directly from the Studio wherever possible.
Additionally, you can message the studio during the live show with thoughts and suggestions by simply clicking on the red MESSAGE STUDIO button. Alternatively, or if you wish to send attachments such as pictures in Jpeg format, you can e-mail studio@galabingo.com. You can also contact the studio via text message; simply text the word CHAT followed by your message to 82222. Text messages are charged at standard network rates.
Please also note the following:
There may be a delay between the TV broadcast and the streaming of the draw inside the TV Bingo Club. This delay will not impact on the game or cause internet players any disadvantage compared to Gala TV players. In particularly, players who do not have broadband connection may experience difficulties viewing the stream of the show. This will not have an impact on the outcome of your game. If you have a winning ticket, your account will be automatically credited the winnings as normal. In the event of any problems with the streaming, promotional videos may be shown in place of the Gala TV show. In these cases a message will appear on your screen displaying information on the interruption.
Bingo Extra games are not offered in the Gala TV Club.
| The tickets |
 |
Each individual grid of numbers is referred to as a Ticket. Tickets are 3 rows by 9 columns.
Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces.
An example of Ticket is given below:-

| The strips |
 |
Six consecutively numbered tickets on the same card are referred to as Strips. Each Strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the tickets. Therefore, the player who buys a Strip will cross off a number at each call.
An example of a Ticket Strip is as follows: -
| Winning patterns and prizes |
 |
Normally, the three winning patterns are One Line, Two Lines and Full House; however, in certain games we may not offer all patterns.
To claim One Line, you need to mark off all the numbers on a single horizontal line on any one of your tickets. To claim Two Lines, you must mark off all the numbers on two horizontal lines of the same ticket.
You have a Full Housewhen you mark off all numbers on any one of your tickets.
Prizes for each winning pattern vary depending on ticket prices and number of participants. However in certain games we may guarantee a minimum prize and offer additional jackpots. All prices and additional jackpots will be shown in the game information panel in the top left corner of your game screen.
When jackpots are offered in specific games, the amount is always clearly displayed in the game information panel in the top left corner of your game screen.
All winnings are credited to your Galabingo.co.uk account immediately after each valid claim.

| Super Spotlight Jackpots |
 |
The “Super Spotlight” is a progressive jackpot that is specific to a designated Bingo club. The Super Spotlight game will be played for 1 line, 2 lines and the Full House with the Jackpot available by winning a Full House within a specified number of calls as shown in the Jackpot area in the designated club. The designated number of calls can vary from club to club and may be changed due to specific promotions and Gala Bingo will advise when this will happen. Once a Jackpot has been won the full amount will be paid to the winner. There is no shared element in this Jackpot and the Jackpot winner will receive 100% of the Jackpot amount. The Super Spotlight Jackpot can only be won during a Super Spotlight game and the game will be clearly named “Club Name (ie City) Super Spotlight” to differentiate it from non-Super Spotlight games. The ticket price may vary on Super Spotlight games depending on the specific club and the price will be displayed within the Times and Prices page and the relevant ticket purchasers. During each Super Spotlight game a percentage of stakes will be retained and added to the Super Spotlight Jackpot so that it increases after each game. Once a Super Spotlight has been won it will be re-seeded (this re-seed amount may vary depending on the specific club’s Super Spotlight) from Gala Bingo marketing spends and the Super Spotlight Jackpot will become active again. The current Super Spotlight Jackpot amount will show in the Jackpot area at the top-left of the Bingo club. By hovering over the Super Spotlight section, the current game information will show or it will display that “This Jackpot is currently unavailable.
Please note: The prizes for the One Line and the Two Line will be available as normal, as well as the prize for the Full House when the Jackpot is not won.
The “Super Spotlight” is a separate Jackpot game to the “Spotlight” and the two are not connected in any way.
